The Gardener's Cottage at Lanhydrock

Maybe it's the weather.
Or that I just got a new Beverley Nichols book.
Or that we are working for gentlemen who have a 1791 farmhouse and barn in the woods with chickens, raised gardens, etc etc.
But I want to include all of the above in some sort of life potion.
NOW!
Call me in three years and see how I did.

"Down the Garden Path"...I've read his stuff when he was a wise old garden sage, but he's much younger in this book and figuring everything out (like me). H.Y.S.T.E.R.I.C.A.L.

These fellas have a white fluffy dog named Winston, who looms over me all day long from the upstairs window. He's on anti-depressants. You can't make this stuff up!

Apologies for title of post: "Landrydock" was meant to be "Lanhydrock."

And to think I told myself not to do that!
