Love In the Time of Cholera

I am in the middle of reading, Love in the Time of Cholera. So fantastic! I don't know if it's in the water of these Spanish writers, be it from Spain or the Americas, but they can weave a tale like no other. I always feel transported from the first page. I've been checking flights daily to Cartagena. (In case your wondering Avianca flies there direct from JFK.) I really can't wait to go to bed and read until my eyes burn again!

Two other great Latin reads are Shadow of the Wind, by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Eva Luna, by Isabel Allende. Both favorites and I just realized recommendations from my friend Shilough. Now excuse me, I have to go thank him. ta!
